The Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program is an initiative by Legrand as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavor to provide financial assistance to meritorious female students, differently-abled female students, and transgender students, enabling them to pursue higher education. The program aims to support academically promising female students pursuing various graduation courses such as B.Tech, BE, B.Arch, and other programs in Finance or Science fields like BSC, BCOM, BBA, etc. Under this scholarship, eligible students will receive financial aid covering 60% of their annual course fees, up to INR 60,000 per year, while students falling under the special category* will receive 80% of the annual course fees, up to INR 1,00,000 per year, throughout the duration of their course, subject to their academic performance.
Legrand, known for illuminating countless Indian households, has been actively empowering female students to pursue higher education and become future leaders in Engineering and Architecture. In 2022, the company expanded this scholarship program to include differently-abled female students and transgender students, emphasizing its commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. Additionally, the program’s academic scope was broadened to include Finance and Science graduation programs, in addition to B.Tech and B.Arch courses. Over time, more than 400 students have benefited from this scholarship program.

- Open for girl students across India only.
- Applicants must have gotten admission in B.Tech/BE/B.Arch./BBA/B.Com/B.Sc. (Math and Science) degrees in India.
- Applicants must have passed out Class 12 in the year 2022–2023.
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 70% and above marks in Class 10 and 12 examinations. Exceptions will be given to differently-abled girl students and transgender students.
- Annual family income of the applicant from all sources must be less than INR 5,00,000.
NOTE: Preference will be given to students from the special category.
*Special category: Differently-abled students/transgender students/students with single parents/students who lost their parents due to COVID.
- 60% of annual course fees up to INR 60,000 per year (whichever is less) till the completion of the course will be provided to girl students based on their academic performance.
- 80% of annual course fees up to INR 1,00,000 per year (whichever is less) till the completion of the course will be awarded to the special category* students based on academic performance.
- Job opportunities can also be provided to students from the special category* at the end of their graduation who qualify all basic job requirements for a particular role.

- Proof of admission or college/university fee receipt of the current academic year
