The SBIF Asha Scholarship is a program that provides financial assistance to Indian students who are pursuing higher education in India. The scholarship is offered by the SBI Foundation in collaboration with Asha for Education, a non-profit organization that supports education initiatives in India.
The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023 is an educational initiative under the Integrated Learning Mission (ILM) of the SBI Foundation. This program is designed to offer financial aid to deserving students from low-income families in India, to ensure that they can continue their studies uninterrupted.
This scholarship program is open to college students who are pursuing their first year of undergraduate studies in top-ranked NIRF universities/colleges and IITs, as well as students pursuing MBA/PGDM from IIMs and PhDs from premier institutions. Eligible students can receive up to INR 5 lakh in scholarship funding for one year.
Buddy4Study is the implementation partner for this scholarship program, working closely with the SBI Foundation to identify and select deserving students who meet the eligibility criteria. The goal of the SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023 is to support talented students who may face financial barriers to education, and to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.

Selection Process
Selection for the ‘SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023’ will be based on academic merit and financial need. The selection process involves two stages: an initial shortlisting of applicants based on their academic and financial background, followed by telephonic interviews and document verification to finalize the selection.
If selected for the scholarship, the funds will be directly transferred to the scholar’s bank account.
Please note that this scholarship is a one-time award for students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate (MBA/PGDM), and PhD courses, and will not be renewable for subsequent years of study.
